How it works

Due Meridian works on top of the invoicing you already use. You stay in control of what is sent and when.

01

Connect

Connect QuickBooks Online, or import a CSV using our template with a dry-run preview.

02

Confirm

Check client contacts, balances, your reminder schedule and tone before anything is sent.

03

Remind

Polite emails go out on your schedule: 3 days before the due date, then 1, 7 and 14 days after.

04

Settle

A verified payment stops the reminders. You get a weekly summary of what is still open.

Replies, handled carefully

When a client writes back, follow-up changes with them. When we are unsure, we pause and ask you.

Your client saysDue Meridian
“I’ll pay Friday.”Records the promise and pauses until then, then checks status before resuming.
“I already paid.”Pauses and asks you to confirm. A claim alone never marks an invoice paid.
“The amount is wrong.”Pauses that invoice and flags it to you.
“Wrong person.”Stops emailing that address and asks you for the right contact.
Anything unclearPauses and asks you.

What we always check before sending

  • You authorised reminders for this client
  • Latest payment status and balance
  • No dispute, promise, opt-out or bounce
  • At most one reminder per client every 72 hours, in business hours

What we never do

  • Add late fees or threaten legal action
  • Change your invoices
  • Handle your clients’ payments; they pay you directly
  • Promise you will be paid faster

Questions

Which invoicing tools does it work with?

The pilot starts with QuickBooks Online and CSV import. Others will follow based on demand.

Is the CSV option hands-off?

Not fully. To avoid reminding someone who has already paid, CSV accounts must reconfirm payment status within 24 hours before an automated reminder. Otherwise sending pauses.

Who do the reminders come from?

They are written in your name, to your clients, only after you confirm the contacts, schedule and tone.

Where is it available?

The pilot is for businesses invoicing in US dollars. We will say clearly when other regions open.

What happens to my data?

You can export it at any time. Our privacy policy will be published before the pilot opens.
